Description of Wordfeud

Play against 30 million opponents!

Wordfeud is a multiplayer puzzle game where you can challenge friends and random opponents and play in up to 30 separate games simultaneously!

Create and place words on the 15 by 15 tile board and earn points for creativity and placing letters on the high scoring Double Letter, Double Word, Triple Letter and Triple Word tiles.

Search for friends to play against or allow Wordfeud to match you up with an opponent. Even chat with them - smack talk or praise - it's your choice!

Tired of the same standard board each game? Choose the option to randomize the board and change up where the DL, TL, DW, TW tiles are placed - giving the classic game a new twist!

It's a great game and the ads are not excessive, but they should give you the ability to turn off the chat feature. There are a lot of weird people who insult you and make inappropriate comments. You can block them, but I'd like the ability to turn off chat completely so I don't have to deal with them to begin with.

Straightforward game play. No silly gimmicks. There are ads but they are less frequent and shorter than other games I've installed. One small fault...you don't know whether your word is valid til you play it.

I've been on Worfeud for a number of years now I'm unable to connect and play my games because this app is asking for permission to my FB info. I never signed on with FB and if there is no other solution I will find another app that will allow me WITHOUT demanding my info What can I do to change this???

I'm so glad to have fun here without multiple, dark ads!!! 🙌☺️🙌 It would be a five ⭐ PLUS if one could tell, as one is adding letters, if it's a word or not! (In this game's version, one has to actually click "play" in order to find out if proposed word "counts" as a word in Feud's dictionary.) However, the bonus of 2 versions of this game, (with colored squares in random places), can make up for the negative.🤓

This game is addicting but kind of enjoyable. It supposedly excepts words that are listed in the international scrabble dictionary, but I have found that to be not true. This can be kind of frustrating.

I loved WordFeud right until they changed the rules & started resigning players and games after 72 hours(or less) of non playThis is why they should CHANGE THIS RULE! 1) Three day weekend holidays mean people should have much longer than 72 hours --3 days-- to get back to game OR at least ask them first. 2) Technical difficulties with phones, computers or internet. 3) Most of us play multiple players and games simultaneously which I am sure you want so give more leeway otherwise we will QUIT it.

Great game! Have had zero issues, ads are not intrusive, and I love how it lets you have a large amount of games running at once, rather than limiting you. Probably the best word game online app there is.

I was really enjoying playing this with family until I started getting political ads, repeatedly, and now today received a porno ad! WTH! I haven't added or signed in with any other platform and could easily have been a minor. Google Play and the app creators need to do something about the type of ads on here.

Splendid, splendid game. Been playing over a month and will keep playing forever more. Only problem is the incessant adverts. One comes up after every play. Otherwise much joy to be found in this game. You can also socialise with other players. Interactive --> 3 years later & I'm still enjoying this game just as much. Definitely worth the download.

It's pretty good overall. It doesn't say what dictionary it uses. Some things it counts as words are pretty silly. My biggest concern is the ads. Not so much that they have them, and you can buy an ad free version. Thing is, many of the ads are scams. There's one that uses Gordon Ramsay pushing free cookware. Its easy to look up that this is bogus, he has nothing to do with it, they use it to get your credit card info for fraud. There are more. The publisher should vet these, get rid of them.

Excellent Scrabble substitute. Play live against others. 72 hours to make a move. Have up to 30 games running at once. Choose a random board if you want (random double-letter, triple-word etc tiles). Ads are slightly intrusive but much less frequent than some other games. Only thing I would say, I've tried numerous times to buy the game via PayPal to get rid of the ads and it won't let me buy.

Bots are among us..I've used this app for years. Sometimes, frequently, sometimes, rarely. This latest resume play, I've noticed a huge change. I have discovered that it blatantly obvious bots (or computer algorithms) are most of my competitors. They make me appear as a wordsmith, keeping the games going quickly to ensure I'm exposed to their newer and longer advertisements. Rare opponent chat with a hi or good game( huge change, because their bots). The give away is automatic play at all hours

I love this app especially the simplicity. It looks and feels like the board game! No flashy bright colours or animations. It's not always trying to get you to buy extras. Only one thing - please block all the Temu adds! I don't know how to make it clear - I DON'T WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS COMPANY! This is beyond annoying

It's an okay imitation of Scrabble. They rearranged the score tiles on the board, so it's very easy to get both a double and triple word score on the same word in the same turn. The video ads have become very loud and obnoxious. lf this is how they or their advertisers try to win customers, they lost me right off the bat.

Enjoying it so far, lots of players to choose from. Able to play many games simultaneously with no apparent time limit. Unlike Scrabble app it doesn't have a built in cheat option via points earned which to me totally defeats the object. So as much as possible I am avoiding seeking any help by other means in order to play an honest game that uses the mind... the words that can be allowed though honestly they can't all be genuine words..

I used to use Words with friends 2 . I played it for years until the adverts and pop ups became unbearable. What a relief to find Wordfeud. Until now. Now it’s the same. It takes 3 screens to get rid of one advert on this app, the same as Wordswithfriends, but it doesn't tell you if a word is acceptable before you play it. Or if the word is high scoring. This app was great because of the lack of annoying adds. Not any longer.

It is fun to play this game live when other players are online. Occasionally it gets frustrating to wait for an opponent to take his turn, but I like the different bonus point squares and how you can mix things up quite a bit with those. I am a long time Scrabble fan, and this is similar to Scrabble only with some very interesting differences. I wish there were a way to see definitions of words that are played. Maybe there is a way and I just don't know how to do it. But it's a lot of fun!

Excellent no no-nonsense word game! I love this app! Compared to the official Scrabble app, this one is not overwhelming and it's just a few dollars to remove ads forever. It would be great if you could add NWL2018, which is available unencrypted online if you know where to look. It would also be cool to know what letters remain in the bag, as well as how many tiles your opponent has so I don't have to count manually.
