It's an amazing application for chess because it has everything a player could ask for, free daily puzzles, tournaments, stats, game analysis, bots, lessons, chess coaches and much more. It also keeps introducing new bots and same bots with new look and playing style. There are achievements, passports and books of various openings which make players more likely to play chess in their leisure time to earn these rewards.

I like this app I really do, but unfortunately the servers are so bad for me, every time I play a game each move I lose 10 more seconds than I need to because of "network issues", even though I run every other streaming app and even lichess perfectly fine. This is so horrible for bullet and blitz, especially since I can't play as well on PC compared to mobile, so fixing this issue would really be helpful

The analysis mode sucks compared to how it was in the past. There's no freedom to move the pieces around to see how things would have played out differently and sometimes moves are marked as bad , when in reality that sac was a forced checkmate. Decent chess app , but not worth the subscription.

I absolutely adore chess and this app makes it really easy to play against someone who i can beat while having a challenge. The puzzles are great, and very convenient. You can nearly access a puzzle while on the go. It just freezes every now and then. Overall a fairly awesome app and deserves a 50/5.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I have a gripe with the touch controls. Because the size of the board its really easy to misplace a piece, and lord knows how many games I've lost because of that. A double tap option to confirm moves would be nice, abd some shogi apps already use it. Also, and unranked online match would be nice

It's a great app for people to learn and play chess with other. I do have one problem tho. The puzzle rush is great for me to practice but sometimes in the middle of solving puzzles, I need to do something else on the phone and in order to do that I have to exit the app. But the problem with this is that if I haven't use the app for a long time, it automatically exit the puzzle and count that as you have completed the puzzles when I just stop at a certain puzzle and didn't complete the puzzles.

Very good, but when playing against a bot, it would be nice if we could rewind and change past moves after a game ends. We can rewind, but can't change the moves anymore after the end. I don't think this restriction adds value from a player point of view.

This game is like my 'go to' whenever I have free time. But there is a big problem here, the themes are having me frustrated. One time I changed the theme from 'basic' to 'wood' then I went straight playing, little did I know that changing the theme would get the game so laggy like every time I'd move a piece it's like so frame-y. I tried deleting reinstalling and clearing the cache, nothing works.

I just updated hoping the game being slow would have been fixed but it hasn't. Just scrolling through the menu shows how laggy the game is. I haven't even bother pkaying cause i know how slow my moves will respond and get registered which means automatic loss. Is the theme the issue? Fellow Devs what do i do? Already cleared cache and I am wondering what next. You guys can do better. You can fix this issue. It wasn't there before. It wasn't. You can fix this.

The game is fine. Lessons are good. Puzzles are fun. I am just disappointed because I purchased the cheapest subscription that says you get unlimited puzzles and lessons, and they are not unlimited. I didn't play much, but I started playing more and was frustrated with the daily limits. I finally checked out what I had subscribed to and found out it was supposed to be unlimited. I tried to contact someone, and no one ever replied. I just turned off my subscription.

No adds and great game play minimal glitching. (3-4 times in 2 months) my issue is that I'll get a draw with 15 minutes left and my opponent can continue to get 20 seconds added as long as they move at the end. Which isn't true to chess rules. You don't get more time simply by having just your king and moving. If that doesn't bug you great game.

It's a good app which does what it is supposed to but it's every glitchy. Since the past week I've 'network connection errors' even tho my wifi works perfectly fine. My time goes down even when it's my opponents turn and sometimes I lose 2-3 minutes without any explanation. I've lost more than 5 games because of this issue in the last 2 days.

I lost a game that I was winning and all it took was a castle to blunder it, what I'm saying is when it comes to clicking a piece a special piece actually, you should have a timer for atleast 2 - 3 seconds for the piece you pressed disappears and cannot press a different tile to go to and I'm also on mobile and it's usually more tap tap rather than click and drag.

I love the app. I've used it for 2 years now. But I've always had a pressing issue about it. No matter how good my wifi is most matches I will "lose connection" and end up losing matches I almost had guaranteed win on. And I was recently banned for no apparent reason other than doing too well frequently. I would like to see something done about the wifi problem. Maybe a compensation for players with very bad wifi

I haven't subscribed yet but I think I will. This is one of the best made, smoothest functioning apps I've ever used. It just works great. Even better, it's really good at teaching chess through lessons, puzzles, and games, and analysis. There are a lot of options and settings, but it's still absolutely accessible for a brand new novice player.

Can you really not unselect a piece? Completely ruins the app for me. Just lost a game because it forced a pre move I didn't want. Never had this issue with LiChess. Also experienced some bugginess with the chat window opening repeatedly during a game when trying to make a move and other buggy behavior. Why do you have to pay for the puzzles? Why is there a daily limit? Edit: thanks for the response, but tapping on another piece should do the same thing.

This is a wonderful application. I have always liked chess but never understood its strategies and subtlties. This app provides incredible, short lessons that introduce those concepts. There is an incredible variety of ways to play: from quick challenges, to computer and online opponents. This app makes me think. This app enabled me to have fun playing chess. I love it and paid for a subscription. Absolutely worth it.

Too many "try premium!" traps. Can't do much of anything in this game that you can't in other chess apps without constant premium popups. I'm a casual chess player looking to learn. I'm not paying over $100 a year for the privilege of being able to review moves more than once. Also, the game occasionally blocks perfectly legal moves for absolutely no reason. In my most recent bot game, I was forced to blunder my queen because it refused to let me move her like a rook.
