Before, when I highlight a word and tap Search, the app would seamlessly transition to Google Search. Now I get this error: "No app found to handle web searches. Install Google or another". I still have Google and it's driving me nuts because I really value the search feature for reading difficult books. Please fix this. EDIT 9/5/23: Thank you so much for fixing the Google search function! I love this app for its simplicity and I'm glad I waited it out because it has everything I need to read.

Overall a good experience. Cons: When selecting a passage for highlighting, the whole pages are getting selected automatically selected. I do not know if this issue is faced by me only. I have purchased the premium reader, yet there was not that much improvement or additional functionalities in that version. It would have been great if some extra font options are there.

This used to be my favourite reading app - I recommended it to many people. In the last year or so though there's been some bug which makes highlighting almost impossible. Certain spots on the page will never be highlighted and trying to highlight them makes the pages jump erratically. The main reason I prefer this app to others is the ability to colour code notes and export them. This bug makes that very frustrating.

There seems to be a bug when trying to highlight a certain line or sentence (doesn't always happen), I would tap and hold a few seconds, the highlighting starts and when I want to move the start/end pointer, the app jump a few pages back highlighting everything. It really taints an otherwise perfect simple e-reader. Other than this, this app is simply the best I've tried. Hope the next update fixes this. Thank you for the app!

Great E-PUB reader app, solid and intuitive interface. If I had a gripe, it would be that there could be a bit more categorizing options. Being able to edit the book flags. Example: sorting by author name, but some book files have first and last name reversed. This throws of the sorting order. (Brooks, Terry versus Terry Brooks)

generally not a bad reader; I like the simplicity, but the underline/highlight feature is atrocious. Keeps marking multiple lines across multiple pages at once thinking I'm flipping them, whereas I'm obviously not. it's a huge waste of time. hope this will be addressed at some point.

My biggest problem is the way it displays books. If you have maybe a dozen or two dozen books in your library then I guess lithium is fine but if you're like me and you have hundreds of books it's a nightmare finding the one you want. And although there is a settings for choosing your book folder, it doesn't forget all the other books it had found previously. This app is unusable for an avid book reader.

Lithium hasnt been updated in over two years so I dont expect anything to change. It's a great reader with most of the features you could need. Text highlighting, however, is totally broken. If note taking and highlighting a book is important to you, you will want to find a different app.

Hands down my go to app for reading. I'm a collector with a lot of epubs so this is ideal. It has what Kindle and Google Books doesn't and everything I wanted from iBooks. Lately it's been freezing I noticed while highlighing or scrolling, but if I wait it out or close the app then restart it it comes back online. All in all I greatly appreciate this app and will be buying the pro version. p.s. I got to mention that scroll feature is very intuitive, like I'm on Twitter!

Great app, great eReader. Basic is already better than kindle with much more customization. The paid upgrade is cheap and worth it just to support the developers, but it also let's you create themes beyond the day, night, and evening basic ones already provided. I love this feature, I've softened the white background and greyed the text a bit and it works fantastic for me. You get the whole color spectrum to chose from

Great, until somehow the highlight popup decided to highlight THE ENTIRE BOOK and I couldn't get rid of the highlight. I deleted and redownloaded the book, and the highlighting was still there. This is on a Samsung Galaxy Note 10, Pro version of app. The app should give you an option to remove all highlighting or at least any highlighting that is currently present on selected text. As far as I can see there is no way to do that. Reallly frustrating especially since I just bought Pro.

The best epub reader, hands down. I used to use Google books, but I switched when I found out this existed and I'm so glad I did. I love being able to create custom categories, it works with any epub file, and you don't have to waste time uploading to a server like with Google books. What an incredible app! Oh, and the formatting is preserved! Being able to read Death's voice in Mort the way it was intended- no other ereader managed to preserve that formatting, in my experience. Great job!

Just what I was looking for. It found the books folder on my phone and populated the library without me doing anything. I adjusted the font to 180% tan background with a bold font for easy reading without going through a million menus. No ads. Remembers my place in multiple books and sorts books by last accessed so it's easy to get back to. Perfect simple epub reader. Thanks!

I was using ReadEra for awhile but it kept messing up basic formatting (like bolding text) on fanfiction I'd downloaded from AO3 and would render any ebook that was formatted for print with images really really strangely. Lithium renders everything perfectly! Only caveat is every time I flip to a new chapter on an epub with small images on the chapter title page, there's a loading spinner? Not sure why this is or how to remedy it since the app is reading files from my SD card but it's not happening on less image-heavy books. I haven't run into this issue on other readers so really hoping that this can be resolved or improved in time.

Actually displays epub files correctly on my Samsung phone. Doesn't hurt that the interface is clean and perfectly functional. No ads either. Not sure why the Pro upgrade exists though. Doesn't back up books, only which page you were on and any marks/highlights you may have added. Why bother charging extra for features most people will never miss? Not a criticism against the software, just a weird business decision.

Great app. I like that it remembers what page you left off at. It even remembered the page when I accidentally deleted a book and re-downloaded it. One problem: I can't figure out to undo a highlight of some text. I figured the blank circle next to the highlight colors would do the trick, but the highlight is still there.

For the longest I've been waiting for a feature to export highlights, bookmarks and notes and with this new update that's made possible. A great ePUB reader became even greater! Only downside is the exported html formatted file is very clustered. There is hardly any space between words and each new note. If the format of the text in the HTML file can be improved upon and nicely spaced then that would be awesome!

I've been searching for a good reader for my Chromebook since I got it 4 months ago. One major problem that every other reader has is that they do not handle images within the epub document! They either skip them (Google Play Books, I'm looking at you) or simply can't seem to open the file at all. Lithium works incredibly well in this regard, I sort of miss more robust library management that other apps (like Aldiko) have, but I think handling images properly is far more important, especially for my various tech books (and so I can dump the often-bloated pdf docs).
