Advice for anyone looking to dwnld: The sign-up process, after purchasing a gift card at a store, was really confusing initially. After you add the gift card, you still have to add a bank card/credit card as a secondary payment method in case you don't have enough funds on your gift card, which is understandable it's just a lengthy process. They do accept Cashapp&Chime as payment methods. You MUST also have a valid Photo ID to take a picture of within the app.

On October 2023 I confirm that UBER is truly complicated as of you have to wait too much time and even if you close the app the trip is not canceled. Additionally if to try to cancel it is almost imposible. Because of that it is the worth app I've ever used. Fees are ridiculous, drivers cancel the trip wherever at every time and the cars a re truly in the poorest condition.

The tipping option is too complicated, sometimes it doesn't go through and ends up tipping double. Another issue is that there are no 4 seaters?? There's 2,3 and 6 but no 4, which is an inconvenience because then we'd have to take two separate cars.

It's not bad if you need to get somewhere fast. But it is still pretty bad. I constantly have to tell the driver when to turn on what street or tell them don't turn here because the direction that Uber gives them makes you go in circles. If you open up Google maps, or Waze u you can direct your driver to get to your destination 50% faster and safer. Not the driver's fault just this stupid app's fault.

Shows receipts in some other languages, not in English. Annoying and spamming notifications. Now in Warsaw airport Uber moved the pickup place to entirely different place in the airport, with very long waiting lines in the cold. You cannot even wait inside the airport but have to wait outside in cold.. Nice idea for the summer, but isn't the entire point of Uber not to use taxi? I should have taken Bolt or Freenow. Much faster and you can wait in warmness.

Bad App experience in London! One of my groceries order was not processed for 2 hours and then it got cancelled. I can't even find it now! When I try to contact customer care an automated reply comes up and doesn't allow me to proceed further because i don't have an ongoing order with them. I can't find my grocery order anywhere on the app! They deducted money and haven't refunded yet!

When I'm away from home andI try to use uber for something important like going to the airport, I am reminded why I uninstalled. I uninstalled it because it's unreliable and drivers will just cancel on you if you booked before a surge, and even if you've selected the option to rebook with someone else, it just won't pair you. It then tried to charge me 2x the fare. 0/5

It's good, but sometimes you put a specific location and when the driver starts to drive it shows a different location. For example l put Walmart downtown, but when the driver sees the destination, it says Walmart in another area, and not downtown, so that's why l usually make sure with the driver he's going to the right place, if not it's a hassle and then l have to change the destination in the app

This was my first time ordering an Uber. Older women trying to get to my hotel from Grand Central Station. Not realizing there was more than one hotel by the same name near LaGuardia, I had selected incorrect location. He helped me confirm the correct location and how to add the trip. Very kind, very knowledgeable, very professional and I felt very safe.

We went through 3 drivers the time did not go down at all. They kept cancelling on us. Then they would try and confirm a ride. It's just annoying when I count on you guys to help us out. Don't keep canceling then requesting to pick us up. That's sketchy and ridiculous. Might delete this app altogether.

This app is very well-designed But you still have a ways to go before I give it 5 stars. This is a constructive criticism, but in the future, maybe with Uber one. Users you could potentially with With how much people save, turn it into Uber cash. So they are encouraged to spend more money With both apps in the future. I also think maybe you should allow people to add a little bit more A little bit more detail on where somebody's home is for drop off or pick up. So there aren't any issues

Really horrible service. If you ever need to get anywhere in a hurry or have something delivered in a hurry never choose uber. I've been waiting for almost 2 hours to try and find a driver.... there's multiple of them around but the app is still trying to find someone. Really useless I'm unistalling.

The phone app was difficult to use. I was quoted two prices for the service. The first price was an inflated, much too expensive. The second price was reasonable. I booked the ride based on this second quote. I was charged the first, inflated price. I wasn't sure I actually booked the ride until I later got a confirmation.

I had a very disappointing experience with an Uber shuttle ride. When it was upgraded to a shared cab ride, the driver started the trip without me even reaching my pickup location. This happened even though I was not in the car, and surprisingly, Uber still charged me. I called Uber's safety helpline, they only gave me hope that it wouldn't happen next time. So, be cautious because there seems to be no real safety concern here. It appears they use your location not for your safety.

It works, strange places and weird times are never an issue as long as you are in the catchment area. Great app. The only downside is adaptive pricing based on weather circumstances, expect to pay 20% more when it's raining, or double on a match day or religious holiday.

I found one bug in the app. I booked a cab and decided to pay using the UPI option. On completion of the trip, I got an email with title Payment Failed. Once I paid the amount, I got one more email with Success message. I think the return statement while the app is waiting for payment needs to be changed from Payment Failed to Awaiting Payment .

The app work well overall, but I have a few complaints. 1) You used to be able to schedule Uber x rides ahead of time. This feature was removed and is now only available for the more premium rides. 2) The other is that I find it consistently takes longer than advertised to get a car. For instance this morning when I looked it initially said it would take 7min to get a car, then when I booked it actually took 20min. Something similar happens every time I use Uber.

Always serving the main purpose of getting me safely to all destinations I want and/or need and return from. It's an advantage for me as realistically, I appreciate that price wise, it is cost saving compared to other taxi services....a lot of the time. Thank you for being reliable, respectful, friendly and importantly safe. Great how the app works and always seeking to give few other options as well Thanks again
