Accurate, useful app . One thing I particularly like about the compass is that it's not one of these finicky compasses , what I mean is it doesn't jump around with small movements . I've had compass apps that are nervous ,constantly wobbling a few degrees. This one acts like a proper ships compass, which are dampened with gyroscopes .

I think this app is fantastic it does exactly what I want it to do. I can pick magnetic north or true north and one thing that surprised me is the roll and Pitch part of the compass you can also use your phone as a level. I went through a number of apps to find this one and I like it

Well, I'd hafta say this is a really clean app. Does exactly what it says. GUI is crisp and uncluttered and so far, no ads. (Built in ability to buy the guys a coffee...) Looking forward to taking this out into the field where it can be given a thorough run-through. Else, I'd say this is the app you want, as a no-nonsense compass.

Just As Elegant, Simple And Truly Free As The Other Compass App From This Developer, But Not As Accurate And Efficient. It Has The PIP(picture in picture) Option, But When I Set It, It Gets Stuck, Dosn't Move And I Cannot Drag It On The Screen To Position It Where I Desire. I'll Stick With The Other Compass App From This Developer But I'll keep An Eye On This One. It Does Look Fun And I Hope It Becomes As Efficient As The Other One.

Maybe it's my phone, but this is off by 8 degrees and the calibration doesn't help. A good calibration would involve verifying North and device level. Heading also changes with device tilt even if y axis is maintained.

Beautiful app that does exactly what it says. Quick graphics response feels better than a real compass. Syle customizations are simple but just enough. Bonus points for requesting location permission only when enabling a feature that requires it.

The best simple compass app I've found and includes solar and lunar positions which are great for checking calibration. It also shows your position which can be easily copied for sharing. Wish all apps were this good and no ads! Thanks. btw where can you buy coffee for $0.99, maybe a cup of instant in Australia?

I couldn't figure out how to get the altitude to come up, but a couple emails and all is well. I was comparing this and another compass app, this won out. One more thing, the Cogs and Gears thing for donating $3.49 is well worth it, particularly if you're a retired industrial parts salesman!!!

This is very inconsistent. The direction keeps changing (mind you, no magnetic field nearby) at the same place same location same direction, it shows different north directions at different times. Very inconsistent. Sometimes it shows north to the left, then sometimes it shows north straight.

This is a horrible app. If I could give it a 1/2 star rating, I would. Out of 10 uses, it was correct in only 1. It is also quite annoying to have to calibrate each time I use the compass. The directions are incorrect almost always.

The best compass. No matter the position of the phone it points in the right direction. Easy calibration, nice to look at, customizable, the sun and moon position is a nice touch, and it's completely ad free. Would recommend.

A compass application may save your life in certain emergencies, and should be in every smartphone. This one corrects for magnetic declination, and also gives latitude and longitude, which can also be helpful in some emergencies.

This is a great Compass. Used it a few times in the month that I've had it and it has worked perfectly. No extra fluff stuff that you don't need getting in the way. Love the ability to be able to switch from True to Magnetic and back.

really nice work of art, one of the best ever created, the movement is so smooth, nice to look at, tremendous design, well done to the creator. recommended to all. I didnt give 5 stars just because I havent test the accuracy of this app. if u guys hv tested it, pls rate it for full stars! but i believe it perform very well. the only issue is the reading varies between standing and leaning position. generally, its good. bravos!

As a former Navy navigator and then pilot, I enjoy anything concerning navigation. I'm amazed at the information that this app provides ... GPS position, sun and moon rise times, Sun location and both elevation and bearing, both True and Magnetic compass headings .... and all in an easily understood format. I'll give it an A+++!

pretty straight forward and surprized to see so little ad "pestering" like so many "free" aps. (hope there's no hidden trolls lerking...ha!) especially like 3d so compass display floats with phone screen position. also moon data handy as well as sun coordinates. switching from magnetic/true heading also a great plus. allows monitoring of magnetic pole shift an easy check. kept it simple, useful and efficient🕵😉

The best by far of all the directional apps I've tried. As an avid outdoorsman, fishing and Hunting and Fishing from Mexico to the North most reaches of Canada knowing the direction and position of where you are and where you need to go is absolutely one of the most important things in the outdoors. I all was carry 3 forms of direction. GPS, Magnetic Compass, and digital Compass and this is the App I rely. Thanks Guys, UnclePete

I HAVE JUST DOWNLOADED YOUR APP. SO FAR WORKING FINE & APPEARING VERY ACCURATE (COMPARED WITH OTHER 3 COMPASS APPS WHICH I HAVE INSTALLED). IT HAS BEAUTIFUL DESIGNS WHICH I LIKE MOST. SIZE OF THE APP IS ALSO REASONABLE. I.E. 14 49MB (AFTER INSTALLING). SO FAR NO ADS APPEARING DURING ITS USE. (***** STARS IN THIS REGARD) ☆☆☆☆ STARS AT THE MOMENT. I WILL RE-EVALUATE LATER AFTER I HAVE GONE OUT FOR A LONG HIKING / WALK. 👍TO DEVELOPERS.
