While this is the most unstable branch (expect lots of bug) and you have to accept that there will be an update at least once per day often reaching 70MB+, it is never the less the best performing Webview, it is fast and responsive for apps that use it. Be aware that sometimes an update in this branch can randomly break some apps but often clearing that apps cache will restore functionality. Try this branch if you don't rely on mission critical apps that use Webview.

The app was working fine but then it refused to update. I uninstalled it thinking that would help, but now I can't reinstall the program. Is there a fix to this?

Most of the time there's daily updates for bug fixes and what nots. I prefer this Android System WebView with Crome Canary any day!

Why do I need this for some reason, if I can't get to download and update on my phone and Chromecast? Supposed to work, but I see no difference. Anyone want to talk about this?

Its working 💯 without this app pubg mobile app is always crashing when I play about 1 to 2 matches it crashes then I installed this and my game stops crashing after playing about 1 to 4 matches it really works I highly recommend

I have no idea if or how this works or if it does anything to benefit the user. Also IT will not UPDATE. What is going on with this app? I have a hacker living upstairs directly above me within 30 ft. He is piggybacking on my phone , using my data, and messing with apps. Will this help stop him? Who knows?

Great, but updates of canary chrome and webview don't work when in developer options, "force allow to external" is enabled, have to switch it for each update.

It's very fast & smooth but there's a bug which prevents me from scrolling on a particular note app (Notebook). Reverting back to stock Webview fixes the problem.

Canary seems to be more stable overall than the actual stable release. It's speed, performance and battery usage is superb over stable in every and all ways.

Great updated webview. My old web view that I had to uninstall and install this one. Kept making my apps closed instantly and crash. Couldn't even open my password log. If you have any issues. Uninstall your old web view and install this one guarantee your phone will start working.

Nightly app , but stable makes device faster superior ever . This app doesn't have any bugs goes on initial release day by day the app is quite good problem is we can't update this app before chrome Canary so auto update won't work all other things are just OK .

Do not sign up for the beta or use the beta. Google does a poor job of updating the beta. It was the culprit why Google Apps were not updating for 2 years. I installed Android System Canary so I could remove the default Bata app. Shame on you Google 2 years of neglect which resulted in locking out your apps from updates.

Vulnerabilities of this build aided in the theft of my identity. Google One has been so non responsive and just moot to a Google one customer it seems. This galaxy note 20 5g isn't okay the way it is the vbs/CVE-2014-6332 was spread via a chromebook because of this particular build. Chrome dev beta member here too I help make this stuff. This isnt what I signed up for edit will not update now and says another takeout done

Crashes entire phone basically. Every time there's an update it starts all over again. It fizzles out then update crazy useless phone and the circle of annoyance continues forever. Finally just uninstalled for good. No more

Very fast and way more dependable than the prefix leads you to believe. Not overloaded with preemptive apps. I really love it quirks and all. Two thumbs and big toes up. Ha Ha.
