I like the app and I understand the limitations compared to the full version I just bought a Nokia C2 for my work phone, something that I can drop and not be too worried about. The problem is the phone comes with a dedicated Google assistant button. But I can't use it while the phone is locked. Seems a little counterproductive. I hope this gets fixed in a future update

Anything with GO in the title sucks. It runs slow, freezes. Terrible app.

I love the app overall it's great. The only thing I would like to be added to the Go version is the voice match so you can access assistant from whatever screen you're on with "hey Google" or"ok Google", without having to go into the actual assistant go app Everytime you need it. Other than that it's great so I really hope you can add this soon. Thank you!

Google Assistant keeps popping up when I press the power button to shut down. I don't need to use Google Assistant. The shutdown menu never appears, only the assistant. I can't shut down the phone. I hard press the power button and it just restarts. I just got the phone today. Never will touch a Google Go loaded device again.

I never asked to change to this so-called lite version. 25 permissions? And what is Android.Queryallpackages? I was doing fine with the original app. Fully trained only 3mb. This starts @ 31mb and the first update is 6.1mb? And I can't even adjust the voice speed or tonality or even name or rename. Anyone out there?

Super easy to ask Google a quick question when something comes up in a conversation or when you are doing your homework if you are to lazy to type something in to the calculator. Contains no ads unless you go onto a website with ads. When you first go into the app, though, you have to wait a second to be able to speak even if it says you can.

There are lots of things wrong with this app as it is ,I can't give some certain commands and when you even tell it to play a video on a certain app it tells me that it can't find any app to play the video including my files and YouTube It's so annoying that I can't even edit the voice setting I mean common .

Very handy and their when I need it to be. More reliable than a human as far as sorting these things out with my phone. Recommend this for people who don't fancy sorting through your old files and things you want deleted. Google Assistant Go will do it for you. This is artificial intelligence at it's apex.

If zero was an option, I'd do that. It's annoying and pointless, and you can't uninstall it. I have tried multiple times, and the stupid thing is still there to pop up randomly. I don't want this app at all on my phone at all, but apparently you can't get rid of it. Smh.

There's NO way to mute or shut off the voice responses of the GO version. So it will automatically and loudly read out whatever response it comes up with if you ask a question, even if the phone is on mute. I know how to disable it for regular Google Assistant, but that ability and setting seems to be totally cut out of this version. Please Google, it's a basic feature; you don't want a phone making noise at all times no matter what. Fix this.

Can't turn it on so it's basically uuseless just like the Google phone app. Stay tuned? For how long? A couple years?

What's wrong with this app?? I can't change the voice response I'm getting, it's a default voice which I don't like, I want to change it to English (USA or UK). Please look into this, thanks.

Honestly this just takes away most of the good features from the original assistant and really for what benefit? If we could at least have the choice to use either one of the two.
