Smart-ID is the easiest, most convenient and safest way to authenticate yourself online – check your online bank account, access e-services and confirm transactions.

Smart-ID allows you to give signatures equal to handwritten signatures (except Basic level), which complies with EU regulations about qualified electronic signatures.

Very good and efficient tool. One remark. Time after time I do not get invitation to accept transaction. I have to restart my Samsung phone to fix this. App is always up to date

You have to go to a bank if you want to use this app after getting a new phone. I understand that this is for security reasons, but there must be another way. It is extremely inconvenient, annoying and consumes an unreasonable amount of time (and money, if you don't have a bank in your town) for activating an app. Otherwise works perfectly, in my experience. Thank god I had a code calculator previously, I can use that. My mom couldn't, it was a terrible experience.

This thing does work, but the design and the way it works is just terrible. The credentials are attached to your phone, the transfer is complicated, the codes expire after some time and in order to renew you need a valid passport. What is this? A boarding flight pre-check?

after updates it doesn't work sometimes and doesn't pop up the window as beforehand. there is tutorial on how to fix it but i doesn't work anyway. tho the app does it functions. the biggest problem I am getting tired of always going trought windows

Usually works just fine, but sometimes the pop-up doesn't open (even though it did just a minute ago on the same page trying to enter/digitally sign). Overall I like it better than other self-identification options as it is always handy and can be used the same all over the world (no extra costs abroad).

there were constant errors while registering until I've disabled factory unlock in developer settings of the smartphone. now all goes well, but it would be much better if application showed the cause of errors, especially if it may cause permanent ban without even knowing why UPD: unlocked bootloader only, I have no root. your should write it in the app while registering like Google does in their apps

I thought that the whole having a smart ID experience would be great but oh boy was I wrong. After many attempts I finally managed to register my Smart ID but I never seem to get any notifications from the app, which means I can't access online banking and such. Tried checking FAQ, resetting push notifications, updating apps, restarting phone, but nothing seems to work. Such a disappointing experience.

Bank suggested trying biometric identification instead of going to the bank and setting everything that way. I thought to myself: that'll be like walk in a park. Boy was I wrong. Camera view always up side down. Adding, removing, change lighting setting only return ambiguous response. It feels like you're feeding random pictutes into the learning dataset because multiple attempts yelded no progress whatsoever.

Since I received no support from support over the phone, I guess it's review time. Might get us into a dialogue that might help the devs as well. One of main reasons I loved using Smart-ID instead of Mobile-ID was that it also worked on my Pixelbook (A Google Chromebook with Android apps support). Since a few months ago, after an update, and after I needed to wipe the laptop (which is a common troubleshooting practice on Chromebooks), I've been unable to activate the new Smart-ID instance again. Also for me, as for some other people, the only option is to go to the bank. Physically. Which is redundant (and will be nullified at every wipe), as it USED to be possible a still some months ago. By simply receiving a human readable activation code on the phone number provided by me (works on iOS, used to work like that on Android, but now it seems to be "automated", which means I get a scrambled SMS now, and the installation of the Android app on my device hangs forever (since the SMS is received on another device). I'd probably get the same problem if I wanted to activate it on an Android device without a sim-card, I imagine. "Not supported" is a convenience aswer by support since it WAS supported. The newer update made it unuseable for me. I'd love to see the human readable SMS code back in a future update. Would instantly give the app 4.5 stars (0.5 goes missing because of incessant notification problems on various devices). Really loved the app otherwise. Makes life easier. But it has become half-crippled for me because of the "advancement" to automation on Android.

secure but getting it working is a nightmare. all options have registration/authentification problems. Update: Online bank - requires go to branch. MobileID - sms never received in 10 attempts or sms received with some binary code/symbols instead of numeric value. Forgot the rest. Scanning passport and qr code from old phone worked. This was attempted in Lithuania. Point being, please check every authentication option as new or returning user. Thanks

Absolute garbage Edit: I will specify why I gave it 1 star(in all honesty, it doesn't deserve even 1). The problem is its barely functional mess that the majority of the time is in a nonfunctional state. Example: yesterday, I wanted to transfer money to a person, and it absolutely refused to allow me to confirm the transaction. Internet reception was ok. Everything was updated, and the phone is samsung s22+. It showed that there we no trascations waiting and nothing else worked.

Terrible service and app, called costumer service line in English and no one available. I'm not getting any notifications which means I cannot do any payments. It's not a matter of the notifications not popping up, I am literally not getting any notifications. The account is setup correctly with my ID

Extremely inconvenient troublesome app. It won't allow even to pay for my mobile, requires bank customer id, personal id, then pin for the payment, then pin2 for signing the transaction! It cannot send push notification, I have to open it manually each time, when my bank online is open. It drives me crazy. I hate Smart id.

App crashes immediately when it starts the face scanning step.. Contacted support, but they replied something about making sure the light levels in the room are right so the app can recognize the face. Totally incompetent support. EDIT: so apparently to them if the app doesn't detect your face within half a second of it starting the face scanning, than it's designated to immediately close wiping your registration progress. Top tier coding practices.

It says that prolongation can be done through the selfservice, if you have v18 or higher. However, when you launch smartID, it is not clear, which version you have. I tried to install the updates through google play, but it doesn't show up updates option, thus I presume I have the latest version, but it doesn't include the prolongation option. Anyway, waste of time.

The app works fine when installed, never had any issues. However, installing it on a new device when you happen to be abroad is a challenge to say the least. The registration option with verification by online bank is blocked for geographical locations other than the country of residence! I find it misleading that it's not mentioned anywhere in FAQs. It's advertised that Smart-ID can be used anywhere in the world but this is not the case with such restrictions.
