Description of Jamboard

Jamboard is G Suite’s digital whiteboard that offers a rich collaborative experience for teams and classrooms. At first the app seemed ok, but the more I use it, the more infuriating the app gets. The biggest problem is the inability to pan or select any items when in edit mode. I think this could easily be resolved by adding a select mode when editing. Other than this, the app is fine.

It's a nice app actually. But I bumped into some lag and bug. When I was working on my work, the app just suddenly stop working. So I try to open my work again, but everything was deleted. Some times it's all turn into black. It's so annoying when I have to finish the work in a hurry. Please fix it.

Terrible app. Glitches out every 3rd time I turn my phone sideways. Skippy scrolling. Scrolling while on an image moves the image and flips it around the screen. Slow between devices, and erasing on one device still leaves lines and spots on the other. Google has managed to make an app that is just barely usable enough that you can hate your life while getting done whatever you need to do.

This app would've been a great collaboration board if it wasn't for the poor performance it has and its absurd bugs. This app literally consumes so much memory, lags to all of your devices, leading to app crashes. This is the only app that consumed 90% of my phone's memory that lead to numerous black screens and crashes. 5-star ratings will come if you guys fix this asap. On the bright side, this app's extremely useful, but will be unusable because of the crashes.

Jamboard was used during a workshop and I thought I'd try using it for an activity. I created a board on a 2019 Windows 10 laptop via browser, and put some notes on it, and shared it to a 2009 Windows 7 desktop with 2GB RAM, and a 2020 Android 10 phone. The desktop, via browser, promptly showed my board. The phone showed me a loading icon for some 30 seconds and then showed an unresponsive white screen with a back arrow at the upper left hand corner and a menu button on the upper right hand corner. I couldn't get the app to function on my phone. Attempting to connect via browser just brings me back to the app which was unusable.

I installed this a few months back; now I'm revisiting it. It seems to have gotten worst. Why would you cripple a collaboration app!? Inserting a text box has been removed, it's so limited when handling objects. No productivity templates for project management. No snap to grid nor grid scaling nor auto arrange. I rather use Google Slides. This is not functioning to handle a fast-paced environment. Microsoft whiteboard offers a TON of features

This app is great for mindmaping and other school projects, however, it would be great for more pens and pencil selection and colours too! Plus, adding some shapes and different sticky note pattern would be excellent too! Jamboard is one of the app that I found to my liking and I m a very picky person.. I would give it 5 stars if there was more choices , font and personalasion.

Some Changes Required? I'm using it in my Mobile's Portrait Mode Left Side Icons Shall be Little bit smaller. Slide Button and Undo - Redo button Shall be in Right Side. It Shall be in Full Screen Mode i.e icon of Battery , Network, Time Etc. Shall note be visible in board view. Please make it perfect as soon As possible. Pdf Import Option is Must Required.

It's been a great app for my teachers and classmates. We use it a lot! I do have some suggestions though. They're pretty great suggestions, I'm sure, for all users. So, the pen. I hope y'all can make it so that it has more options, as in colours AND sizes. Like, that's pretty important here. I think this applies to the eraser too. Other than that, maybe consider adding a "scroll view" option? just cus i think it would be reallyy easier if that's available. xx

Needs some work. This is a great idea to roughly design anything innovative. Although for us, perfectionist, we like our rough work to be clean and descriptive. There's few things people would want to have such as ability to change size of objects and texts and that change the overlapping objects .. choose which object to overlap which and make one object go under others. Creating new board and deleting board. One small, probably a bug was when i drew a circle and drop it in it's place it settles a little sideways to what it's told to. This app has very futuristic uses.

Great app but i would request some improvement in the layout. The page no is displayed in a awkward position and obscures a large area. It would be great if the tools are provided outside a margin allowing a clear space to write. Some options to write an portrait mode will also be helpful. The app also freezes and stops responding sometimes when the device wakes up and during automatic rotation. Only option is to keep screen awake forever.

If you can, use OneNote or MS Whiteboard. They have better sync, better mobile app, and are much less of a pain to use. This thing is hot garbage, boards don't load, sharing takes minutes, permissions don't update instantly (if someone gives you edit permissions while you have the board open, you have to reload to actually edit, and there's no notification that you should)

It is nice to also have mobile application of Jamboard however there are a few flaws in the App version. 1/ There is no way to add Textbox which is confusing for most of us. The sticky note work but the sizing of sticky note is fixed in a square so if we work collaboratively on a jam board we prefer the textbox so please add that for the App version. 2/ To adjust the size I press on the arrow before resizing the page but sometimes it doesn't work as intended because it becomes drag & highlight

You don't have to have a team or not even one other person to use this App to get the results you want it of it!! It's so easy to use and understand but it's almost a bit too simple, in the sense that it doesn't have very many options for the fonts, colors, or thickness of how the color goes on.. but I can definitely doodle my heart out and ends up with some pretty good graphic design ideas for my new freelance biz ventures... So, thank you for creating this free App!! 5⭐'s

Brilliant, replicates the experience of writing on paper, but better. I'd love a copy and paste option, an option to resize the frame, and improvements to the frame selector --- right now it sits on the writing area. But overall this is a very, very, very useful app and service. I use it to teach math.

Great, if you've spent a grand on a smart screen to use it with, and can take 20 minutes to set people up to be able to use it in sessions. Like any app at the minute, it wants access to documents and contacts, which I'm not cool with for its purposes. Great for classes, especially when you've a school Google account to run off, but time consuming to set up and get used to

It's not android-compatible, they didn't consider tablets styluse and you'll have to click on the earser everytime. 1- No finger or palm rejection. 2- Limited space 3- Adding an image is troublesome
