A very challenged piece of meeting software. I have experienced massive systemic issues every time I attempt to use it to run group events, regardless of system or number of participants. Dropped calls, failed connections, and lag make this software unusable. Do yourself a favor and use a more robust platform like zoom or Google meet.

The UI is clean and simple. Love the feature to automatically name the meeting ID and the phone call. Please add automatically naming the participants so it will not always show "fellow jitser" maybe like Google "Panda Cat". Video quality is good but the audio still need enhancement. I prefer Audio call than Video call

I love the idea and all my support for the guys developing Jitsi-meet keep on going, I'm happy you are making this app better. Things to improve: 1. battery consumption, my phone burns when using the app and therefore the battery starts going down at a speed never seen before. 2. Group video quality & speed, sadly it's still behind zoom for example, the connection is quite poor when many people are connected, the more people connect to the room the worse the communication is within the room.

Nice app. My only issue is that most of the time I initiate a call there's no mic audio from my side and no one else on the call can hear me. It takes a few restarts for it to work, which is quite frustrating for everyone. I'm using a Galaxy S10.

It has greatly improved (after reading some of the reviews) bugs have been fixed, once the meeting has begun you can do everything ypu could do in zoom (maybe except fpr the 2nd camera, but I'm not sure) and the best is that is open source <3 Definitely getting rid of other softwares collecting our information.

Don't do it, at least not for Android. You have no control of the room name when it starts, the start time of a the meeting is immediate and stopping a meeting is unresponsive; causing me to wonder if it's just constantly sending video and audio. Counter intuitive operation. Just setting up is questionable.

I now have the strength of 10 people! Unbelievable to me that Zoom gets attention, though Jitsi blows it's doors! I use this app exclusively for my work group meetings, and as a FaceTime alternative for Android to Apple video communcating, no need for phone number. Amazing, open source, always reliable, intuitive app / web app, just right for isolated, tech reliant times! I've used it over 40 times and never had a failure!

This is a great app for video confrencing, it works flawlessly but it would be great if there is also an option to send text message to the contacts. I am very much interested in this app. I would like to request developers to add a feature of sending texts to contacts, just like other XMPP/Jabber clients have these options.

After the update of 24th October screen share is not working at all. Even back button gets hid when screen share is on. After disabling screen sharing camera view not operating. If I try to use the other applications after screen sharing application can't move to the background, it's just randomly popping up again and again. This is just annoying.

Great version of online meetings app. Very easy to use and do meetings. Only the camera option is too wide. Difficult to do a class/meeting with phone while showing specific area around. The camera shows wider view of area behind. It will be very helpful if camera option gets better with more zoomed in default.

To host a meeting, people have to register...Why??? This is not what the app was good for.

It is providing the most essential feature that only premium apps provide. The time limit. Apart from that, its desktop accessibility is somewhat not that satisfying. Its desktop app is very disappointing and browser app utilizes a lot of resources as well as has multiple stability issues. Apart from these, Jitsi is very applicable for even small grades students, since no need of signup is required.

This application appears to be a bit of a headache to make use of. I could not discover a way to easily join a video meeting, as well as the setup process was way also complex. The features additionally appear limited, and there's very little modification offered. The total experience had not been extremely positive. ♂.

Pretty good in most cases. I like how it prioritizes sound and will drop video to prioritize the audio. One concern is that the polling feature can have anyone put them into the chat and no one has the authority to remove them once they are up. I would recommend that get changed so the Host has the ability to allow other polls or not, but also can remove them. Also poster of allowed polls to delete the polls once submitted.

The app worked fine weeks ago, but it has become less and less reliable over time. There are frequent disconnects or can't see the presenter's screen or can't hear the presenter. Although we have about 90 participants, they are all audio only (listening only) except for the presenter who is sharing the screen. So it should not be too taxing on the server. And there are no problems using a browser in the same meeting. So I think there is something wrong with the app.

the audio literally skips every second, i don't know how they managed it to run worse than in a mobile browser

Easy, intuitive, free, no time limit. And if the others on your call use a PC, they don't even have to download the app- they just click on the link and connect through their browser. A real advantage for people who aren't confident with technology (like some of my clients!)
