Celestia — real-time 3D visualization of space

3D Space Simulator | Celestia lets you explore our universe in three dimensions.

Celestia simulates many different types of celestial objects. From planets and moons to star clusters and galaxies, you can visit every object in the expandable database and view it from any point in space and time. The position and movement of solar system objects is calculated accurately in real time at any rate desired.

Interactive Planetarium | Celestia serves as a planetarium – for an observer on any celestial object.

You can easily navigate to any world and land on its surface. When used as a planetarium, Celestia shows accurate positions of solar system objects in the sky. You can switch labels and other supporting features on and off with hotkeys, or zoom in and out on an object of interest, for example Jupiter’s system of moons.

Expandable Content | Customize Celestia according to your needs.

Celestia’s catalogues can be easily expanded. There are many different add-ons available containing new objects like comets or stars, high-resolution textures of Earth and other well mapped solar system bodies, as well as 3D models for asteroids and spacecraft on precise trajectories. Even fictional objects from well-known sci-fi franchises can be found.

It will be better if you add fictional stars like space engine and stars in other galaxy add the entire universe as well as add mountain on all planet expecialy mars it will be infinite stars if you add these

The app is similar to Space Engine, and i really love it, but the downside is that you cant control the camera freely, and also the controls are confusing for me. Overall i would recommend this app for space nerds.

This is the best game ever. I played it before. But although there's some glitches like landing on gas Giants it's like broken. This is almost better than space engine.

So the app is very jittery and non usable in my experience. Even as a learning about there's not much you can do but the controls are very bad

I love this app, it gives a perfect feeling of Space Engine Mobile, there is nothing else wrong expect missing stars and stuff, but the reason I gave 4 stars is that when I am searching nebulae, I don't see any even after traveling to them, if there is a package for nebulae that needs to be downloaded or there isnt, the developer should reply to me if it's a bug or not.

Good game to explore space with but only problem is really , there's not very much things to explore. I tried searching for TON618 , it said object not found. Overall , this is a good mobile replica of space engine 👌 😀 👍

This is THE BEST SPACE EXPLORATION APP I've ever played. I can go anywhere which is fun for me to play but there are some bugs and those bugs are the problem, it would be more fun if those bug are gone.

What an app! This just looks like an alternative for space engine but in phone! The graphics are good, the stars and other things are great and accurate! 5stars auto!

I don't think one can do much more than this while porting Celestia to a phone. It would be great if a guide could be added. I'm a former user of Celestia for PC and still didn't get how to install a few things here, for instance the Iss model. Also there two moon orbiting Earth, not really what the standard user wish to have... I guess.

Did not disappoint! The functions are just how i remembered it back when it's only a PC application back in 2011 and 2018, but now more advanced and have exponentially more addons to download! Thank you for adapting this wonderful space app to mobile!

Unlike other apps, it utilizes a large database of galaxies, stars, and more deep space objects. I was able to find the stars I wasn't able to find with other star gazing apps. Most stargazing apps don't have a galaxy feature or they hide it behind a paywall. This app is very good and it's even better that there are no paywalls or adds.
