Description of DailyBean: Simplest Journal

DailyBean is a simple diary app for those who want to record their daily lives easily. Record your day with just a few tabs!

DailyBean provides these functions.

○ Monthly calendar that gives you a glimpse of your mood flow

Take a look at how you feel during a month with five mood beans. If you click on the bean, you can check the record you left that day right away.

○ Tap the mood beans and activity icons for a simple record

Let's choose your mood for the day and summarize the day with colorful icons. You can add a picture and a line of notes.

○ Category blocks that allow you to select only the categories you want

Blocks can be added or deleted whenever you want, and categories will be updated continuously.

○ Statistics that analyze mood and activity on a weekly/monthly basis

Look at your mood flow through statistics and see what activities affect your mood. You can also check the number of icon records on a weekly and monthly basis.

Great! I love using this app! I find it so easy to use and it's quite cute too! I do wish there were more free features but because there isn't I'm open to buying the premium pass. Overall its a pleasant app and use and I'm glad I stumbled upon it. (I rate it a four because of the lack of choices in terms of themes and colors when you're on free mode. Its kinda gloomy, for me. I'm a big color person so it buggs me a bit) 💫🌟

This app is so cute. You can add a widget so you don't forget. The icons are adorable and is super easy to do it. It's not like the other apps where you have to write a lot because you lose track the moment you're too tired or too lazy to write. But in this app you just gotta press cute small buttons in different sections like "emotions" "people" "sleep" "hobbies" and more. I really like it and it also sends you cute reminders. I love it. It's so cute I want to see my calendar filled with beans

This app is simplistic in design and isn't NEARLY as overwhelming as other apps like Finch. You can make custom icons for certain events and be as detailed as you'd need. Even after the free trial version it doesn't paywall the core components of the app like other self help apps. It only gives you an ad for saving a day after the free trial but that one five second ad will last you a week of not seeing any. It's everything it advertises, nothing more, nothing less.

It's a really cute and simple app that lets you customize what you want to fill in everyday, with the only requirement being that you have to select a face. My one complaint is that backup/restore is a premium feature. Although I'm okay with everything else that's a premium feature, backup/restore is essential to any good app, so I hope that that will be changed in the future. Other than that, it's a really amazing app!

this app is everything I've ever wanted in a mood tracker app. a lot of the others put there that I've tried are overwhelming to me. this one is so simple, yes also fully customizable. the *only* thing it feels like it's lacking is the year view. I really hope in the future they add this so I can see all my lil moods for the whole year like I could in some of the other apps I've tried. still an absolutely adorable app though! (oh and the yearly premium fee is only $10!!)

This app is AMAZING!!! It's incredibly helpful to organize your feelings about how each day went, the ads are all short and kept to a minimum, the themes are cute, the app is incredibly user friendly and I've used it for nearly six months now. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a simple journal!

Very good app that can monitor your daily activities easily. This is my favorite daily journal tracker I've had. It takes a little while to get all of the categories set up, but after that it is really easy to use. The only problem is it sometimes glitches and doesn't let you make a new category with the same name as a category you previously deleted. I feel like there could also be a wider range of icons, or something that would let you use your own pictures for the icons.

the free version of the app before the update was very enjoyable, i had the app and then got a new phone so re-download it a few months later. was disappointed to find out the features using the free version were cut down and limited more than they were before. every time you make an entry an ad plays, which annoys me as i want to log my day for comfort or relaxation and the frustration of ads and picture limiting kills the vibe.

I really like this app. I use it (free version) as a mini-journal and also a way to track my mood over time, and it's been both fun and useful. It's similar to Daylio, but I like that DailyBean lets me add text and pictures. I would like it if I could reconfigure the activity blocks a bit more, like editing an existing category (e.g. adding a new item under hobbies or chores), or tweaking the names of the default activities. I would also love to see the app add more icons for custom activities!

(free version) I love love love this app for tracking my moods and reflecting on my days. There's only an ad when you save your entry, which seems pretty fair considering there aren't any other ads to disrupt your experience. It has adorable icons to keep tabs on things like work, weather, and emotions in a simple but effective journal layout. The little default beans are cute, but I couldn't resist buying the cactus beans <3 I'd love to see more themes in the future !

I enjoy the app, however there are 2 things I'd like to suggest. 1. Without premium, I should still be able to backup and restore my data. 2. Offer more themes and bean options. The second one is only preference and doesn't detract from the enjoyment of the app, but backing up data in what is essentially a journal or diary really shouldn't be paid for in my opinion. Maybe offer additional features in premium in exchange for giving us the ability to backup and restore in the free version.

👍👍The less is more approach used to make this app convient and simple is without a doubt the main reason why it is also so successful. You can do your daily entry so quickly that when your notification pops up and you open it, it requires less thought and time to complete than a text message reply. Using even just the free presets you'll see more overall tracked days compared to other apps that require a lot of time and dedication for the same info at the end. Pro = 1.99/mo 9.99/yr

I'm chronically depressed, but this app has helped me feel just a little bit better in reminding me what I've done for the day. It feeds my need to report info and gives it a place to exist, and it has all these different customizable categories and even statistics for me to compare and contrast! It's even helping me with my memory issues since I get to go in and edit it as I go about my day. Best Diary app ever ♡

Lost 1 star because the reminder feature doesn't work. I set it to notify me every day at 8 pm and it has never done so. In 3 weeks I've only gotten two notifications; one at 3pm asking me to log my day (way too early) and another after 2 weeks saying "this week, use the app!" On Monday. It's incredibly broken. Adorable, but editing is a pain when it forces me to watch an ad just to update a previous entry, and I wish I could reorder the available categories, which aren't easily edited/changed.

It has a very cute design and I like being able to include images in my entries, but once your free trial ends you have to watch an ad every time you post an entry. It's not a long ad and might not be bad for most since you're usually just using this once a day, but since I'm using this to track my mental health it's just really frustrating and drove me away instantly.

I've tried a lot of daily tracking apps for different aspects of my life, but I have to say this is the most effective. The customization is brilliant and allows for you to track literally any part of your life (e.g daily habits, exercises, food, moods, cleaning, bad habits, etc.) Its also the only one I actually stuck with for more than 6 days. Great job to creators and thank you for this helpful tool. :)

I downloaded this app for the cute widget display of the mood tracker. The issue is that the weekly widget is the same size as the monthly one. The monthly widget was too big for me (4x3) and to my dismay, I discovered that despite the weekly widget being smaller, it takes up the same amount of space on the homescreen as it has a large invisible border. I really hope this can be fixed as I would love to use it if the wasted space was trimmed. I think it could fit into a 4x2 space. Thank you!!

I love this app, it's really cute and simple. I am still using it along side my old app because of some features I can't go without; for example I like having multiple entries in a day sometimes, I dislike only being able to post one picture per day, and I need to have pdf exporting so I can keep my memories if an app stops working or I switch to a phone that doesn't support it, etc. But its really such a nice little app that I will continue to use it alongside another diary app for now.
