One star until it's fixed. This was my daily driver until the recent update made it totally unusable. I'd be shocked if this has not given someone a seizure yet.

The security is not as good as the original Chrome. My opening page has been hijacked and I have tried everything and can't get rid of it. I'm disappointed in that aspect.

Chrome beta version has serious visual glitches that causes the inability to use the browser and constantly closed viewed web websites that causes intermittently interrupted functions and reloading during my user experience 😳 😬

Hi there since updated the tabs keeps disappearing and get replaced with only the last tab and after couple of hours it restores all the tabs, b 4 if delete all tabs by mistake there was option to recover them now unable to do so and have to wait until it comes back on its own happened 2 twice in last 12 hours now waiting to get restored. Please fix.

Why did you guys have to do this?? Google was working fine then you have to have this stupid beta... Way too often when I try to look up something the screen will just freeze on me and I can't scroll! It's really annoying especially if I'm looking up something important! Please fix this app or I'm just going to use something other than google!

In the chrome there should be a easy way to put shortcut and in the beta version the buttum of the black colour is very very ugly please replace that whith google any other colours.

Only installed on my Pixel in order to allow a choice of browser when clicking on a link - the Pixel's built-in Chrome has "always" enabled that cannot be disabled, which I'm pretty sure is a breach of European competition law. Installing this avoids that.

I really like the 'about this result' feature and I think you should keep it for normal chrome. When I downloaded this I got warned it may have bugs, but I haven't experienced any. Also a very good app to use instead of normal chrome.

Chrome Beta seems to be causing some challenges. Recently, when I folllow a link and opened a web page, the app statts strokbing, overheating, and restarting the phone. Diagnostics aren't finding anything. Is there a fix?

So far so good; except...even before I was using Chrome Beta, I hated the way the phone would stop responding. I would have to go to device care and select optimize. It began happening within the past 2 years, approximately. It still does it now with the Chrome Beta.

its alright, same old chrome. just one little pet peeve is that it automatically opens a new tab every time i load a new page on any website im on. its a little irritating because before this "update" chrome never did that. i hope this is just a bug and not a feature.

Chrome Beta now begins refreshing the active page over and over with increasing speed until it becomes unresponsive. Typically happens when opening a topic in Google Now. Reinstalling or clearing the cache (browser and/or phone system) doesn't resolve the issue. The listed app help email on this page is not monitored.

Have been using beta version of chrome for a couple of months now and was pretty smooth experience until recently where the app opens up, shows the page for a second and goes black and then hangs. Hope this helps to fix bugs in the final version.

App constantly refreshes a page. When you go to it, you clear the cache and the data and it works for a little bit. Then it goes right back to doing it absolutely unusable have to use a third party browser because my Google created app doesn't function like it should went online. Found other users experience in the very same thing and being told to do things like format. Their phone reset everything which is inexcusable for an atmos behaving this poorly

Gets stuck in infinite refresh loop. To the point google is now asking me if I'm a robot because their app is spamming refresh soo much. I only downloaded the beta because the default app was crashing constantly. Sad how far chrome has fallen. Used to be my most trusted browser, now I'm not even sure it's worth the storage space.

The latest update at the beginning of September /2023 for either the app or for android on my note 20 ultra with android 13 has made the app essentially unusable. As soon as I bring up the browser, it refreshes the page. Then it keeps refreshing, progressively getting faster until it's essentially just strobe effect and I have to kill the app. Still not fixed as of 9/24/23.
