Description of Xbox Game Pass (Beta)

This is a Public Beta of the Xbox Game Pass app that provides and early peek at new capabilities. Use the feedback button in the app or shake your phone to let us know what you think.

XBOX GAME PASS BETA AGREEMENT

The following terms supplement any software license terms that accompany the Xbox Game Pass App beta.

MICROSOFT SERVICES AGREEMENT. You acknowledge that you have previously agreed to the Microsoft Services Agreement. The Microsoft Services Agreement apply to your use of the Xbox Game Pass App beta.

FEEDBACK. If you give feedback about the Xbox Game Pass App beta to Microsoft, you give to Microsoft, without charge, the right to use, share and commercialize your feedback in any way and for any purpose. You also give to third parties, without charge, any patent rights needed for their products, technologies and services to use or interface with any specific parts of a Microsoft software or service that includes the feedback. You will not give feedback that is subject to a license that requires Microsoft to license its software or documentation to third parties because we include your feedback in them. These rights survive this agreement.

Xbox Game Pass is a great app to own on the Chromebook as it allows you to install the games as well as being able to see how much storage you have left on your Xbox One console. It also has the XCloud as a part of it too but unfortunately enough, it's laggy and stuttery that streaming the games isn't great. Would love to see more options come to the streaming part like having it at a low resolution or a better connection as it would be awesome to play the games on my Chromebook digitally.

extremely well designed unfortunately cloud gaming doesn't work in malta (as far as I know ) I understand it isn't easy to do such a thing but I would prefer to have an estimate on when such a thing could be made

I must say I'm in Jamaica right now and I downloaded the app to play use my VPN and it ran smooth as butter I love it keep up a great work guys I'm waiting for them to add more games but I love that I can play a lot of the ones already have in my library right now and still catch up on some gaming when I'm on the road or if I'm bored and have some spare time.

Since the last update on the 7th I can't run anything I try to stream games and it freezes I've cleared cash I've tried different phones and I'll do the same thing I hope that Microsoft will rectify this problem soon cuz before the 7th it played smoothly it played great

Needs fibre or 5g connection to stream games. Quite a few shite games in cloud game list. Just about worth the money for game pass. Playable on Chromebook

Seems to be the best way to okay Xbox cloud at the moment in my experience. I've enjoyed it so much it's actually convinced me to buy another Xbox after being on PC only for the past 2 years. The only things that need improving overall is the input lag and sudden frame drops. You don't seem to get any artifacting on mobile like you so on different platforms like PC, instead you get frame drops. I do think overall that this is the future of gaming however.

Doesn't recognise I have GP Ultimate and keeps asking me to subscribe despite being signed up until 2025. Absolute rubbish.

Cannot recommend this enough. You will need a controller for most of the games and not all games work on cloud but there are a lot that do. You will need a decent network connection, 4g is unplayable for me. At home on fibre I don't notice its even streaming. One thing to note is that dlc/expansions are not included in the streaming versions on every game I've played, that's fine for me. Obviously this is the beta version, there may be issues. Use the other one if that's a problem.

Cloud gaming is a feature I've been waiting for a long time, it's great. Some games are still not completely optimized for this, controllers have some ms of latency even wired with USB. And some touch controls feels a little uncomfortable. (for the most light screens.) but is still pretty pretty good. I'm in love with it.

With game pass i can try new games, play old games whatever i want. And when i choose to buy i get a good price.

Same as the non beta version, games do not launch and you stay in an infinite queue that only ends when you give up and close the app

great only thing I would like is whilst playing on mobile in game options to increase text size for reading of tutorials and other things as for me can be quite small

I am enjoying the X Cloud platform it's very great but the problem is just that in my country is not available I need to use a VPN all the time
