Ok when it works; the widget never stays loaded on my screen so I just get a load of white lines whether the icons should be. When ever I look out my window it's very rarely correct too! Raining when it's sunny, sunny when it's foggy etc

Three perfectly good apps. (BBC News, BBC Weather and BBC Sport) all now not working properly. I thought the BBC were better than this. Why take something which worked perfectly and then destroy it. I'm lost for words.

Every update seems to make this App worse. Now unable to delete places by swiping right on Android. Places "deleted" keep reappearing. Expected better. Now deleted app after many years. Met office for me from now on

***update November *** finally said goodbye for good to this app that has been totally ruined. Now using the met office app and very happy with it too. Shame on the BBC! ***update october*** yep. Still broken. For nearly 3 months and counting. Are you incompitent BBC? **update* still broken in latest version (late September 2019)* Used to be great. Now cannot locate forecast like others have noted recently.

Always get my current location wrong, cannot edit and although I have set my correct location, next time I start the app, it shows the incorrect location again and I have to scroll down to my real location. This is silly to the extreme and eventually I have to uninstall the app and use Met Office instead. Edit: Solution found, on apple site, location, when it is installed , don't allow the app to have access to location, OR if you have installed it go to settings/location and deny permission.

Latest update (29 June 2023) has just wiped out all of my saved locations. Also the full screen menu has been changed from a perfectly good working one to one that's trying to be too clever for its own good. Just go back to the plain and simple that worked. And, why the hell do I need to be logged into an account just to see the weather, its just not needed!

This used to be a good app but the BBc have now implemented sign in to use the app which didn't used to be the case. This seems ridiculous to me. Also the accuracy of the forecast is poor, the Met Office app is more accurate.

The widget randomly doesn't display the forecast, and I need to keep manually refreshing it, which defeats the point of a widget 🤷🏻‍♂️

Now, you need to register and log in if you want to see the weather within the app. There are too many unnecessary logins from apps and we wonder why our data isn't safe anymore.

Can't sign in - every BBC app now takes me back to the sign in page every time I put in my email and password. Am logged in to websites but apps are taking me round in circles! Help please!

Used to be great. Since getting a new phone the widget has never worked making it redundant, and loading the app it always says "Forecast not available" requiring me to manually refresh to display anything. As of today it no longer displays any weather information even after trying to refresh.

The worst weather app out there. If I could give a zero I would. All week your app said Saturday would be sunny, cloudless and 70 degrees..... It's cold, windy and overcast. My advise to anyone wanting this, is not to bother. It won't give you an accurate forecast.

Android notifications of irregular location use on Google pixel. Shows accessing location being less than every 10mins yet, the app settings only go to an hour and the was phone is locked (overnight)

Useless app. Regularly have to clear cache and force stop in order for it to work for a couple of days. Better apps out there. And now 17/8/23 the widget has disappeared. Utterly dreadful.

Usually quite accurate, as much as it can be with our changeable weather. My only niggle is although our village is on the app BBC weather insists we live in the next village and refuses to allow us to have our village as our home page. So, I always have to scroll to get our village, which sometimes seems to take an age to load and has a different weather forecast to the village the BBC believes we live in.

Nice UI, clear and nice animations. I wish the widgets were more customisable, though, and you could change the refresh rate of them.

Since the latest update , I can't search for a new location as the app tells me that I have no Internet connection. It also doesn't open on my home location, it picks the 2nd location in my list.

Was good, now absolute rubbish, zero stars. Why do you need to sign in for weather? Even worse, the sign in page url is wrong (404 error), making app non-functional. Liked it because of widget, not anymore, zero stars. Wish I never updated app
